If yo...I think it all depends on what your wearing.
If you are wearing a simple LBD, go crazy with the jewellery. The more ostentatious the better!
But if you have a colourful outfit, less is more.

I'm not one for expensive and precious jewellery, I'm a bit clumsy so it would end up broken, or worse lost! That's the reason why my engagement ring is a simple band with a small stone, not some giant rock of a diamond, can you imagine the argument when (and it would be a 'when') I lost that...!

Best of luck with your new book.

XxRLAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11064259662608742231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7625290842452474467.post-67790848283758559432011-09-27T10:05:19.883+01:002011-09-27T10:05:19.883+01:00TashNz - I love the sound of gold rings with dark ...TashNz - I love the sound of gold rings with dark blue sapphires.

A stone I really admire (but actually don't have!) is lapis lazuli...apart from the deep, deep cerulean colour (am trying to avoid repetition of "blue"!), it's such a romantic name!Sharon Kendrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18006524698711143868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7625290842452474467.post-27095506487697750032011-09-27T09:37:31.670+01:002011-09-27T09:37:31.670+01:00I would love to sparkle but my prob is i don't...I would love to sparkle but my prob is i don't know how to accessorise (or spell it lol). Have a fantastic time - and can you please send a photo of her in her dress?

And Jill, the crawling around on the floor with a toddler is one of the very best phases of life....lucky you.Sharon Kendrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18006524698711143868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7625290842452474467.post-3967062827983387082011-09-26T18:53:25.132+01:002011-09-26T18:53:25.132+01:00My whole life I was NOT a jewelry person, but then...My whole life I was NOT a jewelry person, but then I had a child and couldn't wear jewelry (very grabby little hands) and all of the sudden I wanted to wear it!
I wouldn't describe my taste as sparkly or subtle so much as funky. I would love to be the kind of person that could pull together the perfect quirky vintage outfit and fun costume jewelry. Sadly, my wardrobe rotates between boring khakis and boring jeans. So much easier when you're crawling on the floor with toddler every day ;-) I save the bling for when I leave the house without him.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15364220221782320521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7625290842452474467.post-13513709071807013142011-09-26T18:28:46.652+01:002011-09-26T18:28:46.652+01:00I tend to be a bit of a minimalist. I cannot express my joy for her.

She's always been a special child. She survived childhood leukemia and has devoted her life to helping others. She's been a nurse for the past year and spends most of her free time volunteering to help the elderly and infirm.

Amy is definitely one of a kind. Unlike her uncle, she likes bling. And plenty of it. Good for her, I say.Dannoreply@blogger.com
