ATMOSPHERE AND ITALIA

It's the long Bank Holiday weekend and so I'm off to glorious Italia.
(Which is where I am photographed with my "children", this time last year).
Black and white photos can be so atmospheric, don't you think?

I think I've come up with a new plot for my next book - but will definitely garner some information while I'm over there.
What are you doing for the weekend?

  1. I'm spending this Saturday with my sister. We're going into Chicago to the Tall Ships Festival at the lakefront. Then we're going to have lunch on the terrace of our favorite outdoor cafe - Brasserie Jo - overlooking the Chicago River.

I'm looking forward to spending the day with her. She never fails to put a smile on my face.

  2. Lovely photo Sharon and lucky you being in Italy. I shall be reading over my New Voices entry and taking a bit of time out from work on the farm reading your October release, Shameful Secret, Shotgun Wedding. I love the new covers. If anyone wants to see them I have posted a photo on my blog.
Good luck with new book, Sharon and enjoy your long weekend.

  3. Oh you lucky devil, Sharon, escaping all the dripping foliage here!

Black and white is very flattering I find, not that you and yours need to worry on that front. Glamsters the lot of you!

Can you sneak us a few photos of some gorgeous Italians while you're out there? Have pity on us, huh?

    Have a wonderful time,

    Lots of love,

    Rach.

  4. My plan for the weekend is having a GREAT break from studying and maybe going to the cinema (tomorrow) – I had forgotten how boring studying maths is… I’m a humanist after all!

So, all mathematicians out there… I beg your pardon, but I may love maths only if I were John Nash.

From Saturday to Sunday I’m going to the mountains – after a whole season of crystalline sea and golden tan – I need the fresh breeze coming from the trees.
Horse-riding, baking cakes and bread, listen to some good music at sunset and attending local festivals.
"Buon fine settimana" in my part of the world!
