ALL TOGETHER NOW......AHHHHH!

Today, a flag-filled land came to a complete halt to watch the wedding of one of its favourite sons.....

Wasn't it lovely?
(But look at the bridesmaid's face!)

  1. Hi,

I could not wait to see the Royal wedding...I got up at 5:00 AM and watched. Kate made a beautiful bride and William looked rather handsome. I love the picture of the little girl to the left (so true as how some children act and what they find boring)!!

  2. Great to hear from you, Diane - I haven't forgotten your book - and will post next week.
Agree that the bride was very beautiful.

  3. Thank you, Sharon, I will be on the look out for it. I forgot to ask where did you view the Royal wedding? Westminster Abby is something to behold. Someday I want to visit Europe...hopefully it will be soon!

  4. I was a little overwhelmed at the amount of coverage the event received here in the states. And until recently, I didn't realize that the event sparked such a wonderful feeling of patriotism and fellowship in the U.K.

The bride and groom do look gloriously happy. Their kiss was nothing short of magical. I wish them both much love and happiness.

(And I agree with you both; the bride looked positively stunning.)

  5. Diane, I watched it with friends - we ate crab sandwiches and strawberries and drank glasses of fizzy stuff - while the subtle scent of wisteria wafted in from the garden.

Dan, if you think the coverage was big in the States - you shoulda bin here! The trouble is that it gets very addictive and I found myself watching highlights later. I guess it's the moment-in-history thing which is the pull...
