COINCIDENCE......?

Right now, in north America - I have a book out called
HIS MAJESTY'S CHILD.
(Great cover, isn't it?).
Without wanting to give too much away - you'll find some uncanny coincidences within its pages. Something happens in this story which recently happened to Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Life imitating art?
It's the other way round, of course.
I'm constantly fascinated by the relationships of those in the public eye and spend a lot of time imagining "what if?". I try to imagine how someone would feel if they were suddenly catapulted from obscurity to world-wide fame.
Because that's exactly what happens to Melissa, the heroine of this book....

I'm just about to do something very exciting which I'll report about next week.
In the meantime, I'd like to wish you all a very Happy New Year.
Did you party, or chill? Were there fireworks - or just a calm and blessed peace?

  1. Am I the first to comment after so long time...?! YES! LoL!
The cover is magnifique...and I'm sure the book too. Pointless to say, too soon to see it in Italy...

The last day of the year was amazing.
I was with my family and my friends... dinner out in a wonderful restaurant and dancing all night long.
I went home at 6 am and woke up at 2 pm!
I had missed them all after 20 days in the school but I was happy to share those precious moments with the most important people of my life.

I'm curious to read about this "exciting thing" you're going to experience and I hope I will (at least before January 9th because I'm off to L'Aquila and to school again!)

Send you a hug as large as the view of the Gulf of Napoli (which is actually similar to an embrace!) x

  2. Michela - it has been too long - we have missed you!
As usual, you send an inspirational message and I can promise you that, yes - you will hear about my adventure before you leave on January, 9th.

    Happy new year!

  4. Excellent cover, Sharon. I look forward to reading it.

My New Year's celebration was quiet and peaceful. I had a lovely evening with my sister and friends. We rang in 2011 with good wine and great conversation.

I have a feeling that 2011 is going to be a great year!

Great to hear from you, Michela! Happy New Year!

  7. The 'USA TODAY bestselling author' tag on the cover is brilliant! Well done Sharon.

I was lucky enough to spend New Year's Eve in Davos - the evocative smell of fireworks hanging in the valley as the bangs and crackles echoed off the mountains. (see picture in link)

Best wishes to all on the blog for the New Year to come.
