WHAT AN AMAZING COVER!

This book features not one, not two but (you've guessed it!) THREE stories, all about incredibly charismatic and sexy Greek heroes and the women in their lives.

I love Greece; the vibrant blue and dazzling white which seem to define it. I love the scent of pine and of lemons wafting through the air. The sight of a line of octopuses hanging out to dry in the bright sun. The milk-warm sea and the drowsy sense of well-being which creeps over you after just a few hours. I hope I've captured that essential Greek feeling in this book and that you enjoy reading it.

It'll be released in mid-September but you can pre-order it here.

And if you have any inspirational Greek memories, I'd love to hear them....

  4. A stunning cover, Sharon. And the trio contained in it is awesome! I love them all but my favourite is BOUGHT BY HER HUSBAND.
    Alexei Christou is so gorgeous...

My experience with Greece? Well, I've been to Corfù once for few days, during a cruise.
An amazing place, a crystalline sea and that violent white surrounding everything, like heaven on earth. I also visited Paleokastritsa, 25 km from Corfù, famous for its beaches, intense blue sea and for being, according to the legend, the place where Odysseus met Nausicaa for the first time.
I also played a Greek goddess once (I miss the theatre!) and I attended a two-month course of Modern Greek and Albanian at university.
Russian alphabet comes from Greek so it was useful.

Curious how everything, or almost everything, we know comes from Greece.
Modern words as philosophy, God, music, cosmos and others exist thanks to Greek etymology.
The most important comedies and tragedies were written by Greek authors and have become models for future generations of writers.
How can we forget authors as Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes, Homer and their works?
In Greek mythology we can find every answer to reasons hidden behind human nature and the message contained in every tale and legend is universal. It can be also found in modern ways of being and living.

How can we forget LA DIVINA, the Unique, the Great Maria Callas, a true Goddess to me - with her wonderful voice which makes my heart bleed.

A gift for you - and I've found it both with Italian and English subtitles...what a success!
Surely it can provide great inspiration...only listening to it.

  5. As always, Michela - your reply about Greece is truly inspirational - and thank you.

Interesting what you say about BOUGHT BY HER HUSBAND. It caused a lot of controversy when it was published - though I tried really hard to get inside Alexei's head and to make him real as I could - and that's why I wrote it. I'm really glad you liked it!

  6. Excellent cover, Sharon. I've never had the pleasure of visiting Greece, but I hope to get there sometime soon...

I'm also sure that the book will live up to its title.

  7. Thanks, Dan - great to hear from you. Hope you get to visit Greece - it's stunningly beautiful. Am writing a Greek hero at the moment but somehow the story seems to have taken them to New York!

  8. Sharon, of course I like it.
I loved the plot, the characters and their emotional development through the story.

Since ancient times books have always caused controversy because they show us something new and tell us stories someone has never told before.
And news have always a great impact on people.
No matter what they tell or what they show -
a writer's work can't be judged because it's his/her work. You can love it or hate it but you can't judge it.

Truman Capote or Beat Generation authors showed us a new world in their books, also if they were objects of controversy.
The point is that they SHOWED something NEW, they made us know the world they had inside... and I'm sure it's not so easy to get inside a man's head as you do every time with your male characters.
Having said that - I love your books and the worlds and the characters you bring to life.
