SNEAK PREVIEW....

Here is is, my January 2010 release for Harlequin Presents, titled THE ITALIAN BILLIONAIRE'S SECRETARY MISTRESS.:

It's all about Riccardo Castellari - the powerful and sexy Tuscan tycoon. And Angie - sweet, mousey little Angie who has loved her terse boss ever since she can remember. I love this couple and really wanted to tell their story.

I love the cover, too....and not just the artist's brilliant depiction of the intense and inexplicable passion which grows between Angie and Riccardo. Look closely and you can see Big Ben - which looms up over the city like a benign friend. That's one of the fabulous things about being in London - it really does feel as if you've fallen into a picture post-card.

What's your picture-postcard city?

  1. I look forward to reading it - I love your Italian male characters (because I'm Italian? Maybe) - they're just like Mediterranean tycoons are supposed to be.

The cover is wonderful and the characters too (one of my friends, Riccardo, isn't like him, but blond and blue eyed - sometimes I wonder if he's really Italian!).

Big Ben is really evocative over there, I love it.

    My picture-postcard city? Naples, absolutely.
I love the Neapolitan gulf with the Vesuvio engraved in the starry night. Enlightned houses and palaces around and Via Partenope is the main attraction. Just love it. Yes, I know - the love of my country is too strong, but isn't this way Italian people are supposed to be? I think so.

  3. Love the cover Sharon and can't wait to read it.
I fell in love with Italy when I attended your course in Tuscany so for me I'd love to see Rome - on a cover and in reality one day I hope.
    Another choice would be Venice.

  4. Michela - your words are an inspiration and I am definitely going to set another book in Naples!

Have only used Venice as a location once, Rachael - maybe the time is ripe for a revisit....

And Caroline - I'm off to Cornwall on Sunday!

  5. 'Look closely and you can see Big Ben - which looms up over the city like a benign friend' - or rather like something else!

Wiping some of that London fog from my glasses now... keep up the steamy good work Sharon!
